ABOUT

I have been playing Tobla, Harmonium, Guitar (rhythm), Drums since many years now. But recently I also started playing little bit of Piano and Cajon.

I also sing, basically English and sometimes Bangla/Urdu. But I can learn to sing in any language once I learn the language (the lyrics of any song).

I will be in Sao Paulo from 1st October till end December and I look forward to playing music with the musicians of Brazil.

No matter what my age is, I still continue the same passion I had for music and love to be around musicians. I say this because there is a saying we, drummers are not musicians but someone who hangs around the musicians.

I am the first female drummer of Bangladesh.

My own family.
We, 11 sisters and brothers played music and sang since our childhood and we actually are the beginners of western/rock music/band scene in Bangladesh.

My 3 brothers and 2 sisters are celebrities, including me; Singer Alamgir in Pakistan, Noyon Munshi, known as Guitar Magician in Bangladesh, once in Canada, Dastagir, the lead singer of the first band in Bangladesh, Roxana, the first female Tabla player of Bangladesh and myself the first female drummer Bangladesh.
